Toolkit

The OpenHRE Toolkit is a proven, flexible solution for constructing, maintaining and scaling Health Information Exchanges.

Core services of the Toolkit securely connect stakeholder systems, apply patient and community preferences when locating records, authenticate  viewers, retrieve needed patient data and present information pertinent to a specific care event.  Furthermore,  these services are “configured” to easily adapt to the evolving policies and information needs of a Health Exchange community, and those stakeholders within the community.  Currently, the Toolkit includes functionality and support for:

 Community Health Record (CHR)

 Personal/Physician Health Record (PHR)

Record Location (Enterprise, Community and NHIN MPI)

 Authentication and Access Control

 EHR Lite

 Health Record Banking

 On-Line analytical processing (OLAP)

 Clinician Messaging
